Elections

Vote For Your Next Board of Directors!

Please read the following important announcement:

Due to the fluid COVID-19 situation, we are carefully planning the 2020 Board Elections that follow social distancing and disease prevention guidelines. The Nominating Committee is currently working on alternatives that will help ensure a smooth election process.

If you have any questions about the election or the AGM, please email the Society President at president@stlstandrews.com

The Scottish St. Andrew Society of Greater St. Louis holds an annual election for the Board of Directors. Each officer serves a one year term, with the exception of the President who serves a two-year term. In order to run for office and vote, a person must be a member in good standing with all outstanding dues paid. For more information about the election process, you may contact the society president at president@stlstandrews.com

You may recall a change to the Society’s By-Laws last year that makes all memberships effective for 365 days from your “Society Birthday” (i.e. the day you first paid your dues).  Longtime members are probably tethered to the old timeline where memberships expired on June 30th.  If you fall into this category, you should have received e-mails reminding you to renew your membership.  An earlier glitch involving a broken link in those e-mails has now been fixed.  If you have not renewed yet or have a question about your membership status, please contact Membership Chair Don Conrad (membership@stlstandrews.com) Renewing your membership online simplifies everything for both parties, but we of course still accept written renewals and payment in the regular mail.

The 2019-2020 Board of Directors has been elected! We congratulate Matt Pantaleoni as the new Society President, with Don Conrad as Vice President, and the addition of new Member-at-Large, Kim Gordon, Sheri Horton, and the return of former President Chris Fulton as a Member-at-Large.
